Academic Eligibility
- Passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
- Minimum 60% aggregate in PCM for B.Tech Marine Engineering (50% for reserved categories)
- Minimum 55% for B.Sc Nautical Science and DNS
- Appearing students in Class 12 in 2026 are also eligible to apply
Age Limit
- General: 17–25 years as on the date of joining
- OBC: 17–28 years
- SC/ST: 17–30 years
Other Requirements
- Must be an Indian national
- Must pass the ENG 1 maritime medical fitness examination
- Should be physically and mentally fit as per DG Shipping standards
- No criminal record
